Why Be A Member?

The need for new funding and resources to support Canadian charities has never been more crucial. In Kind Canada has tens of millions of dollars worth of material flowing through its virtual warehouse each year. Participation in the program will allow your organization to share in that wealth.

The annual cost for a Canadian Registered Charity to join the In Kind Canada program is just $250 per year. Community based Non-Profit Groups can join as an Associate Member for just $75 per year. This membership provides access to all of the Group Purchasing and Benefit components of the program.

Effective December 2003 all new material allocated to a member agency carries an administration fee of up to 10% of the value of the material. These new fees allow for the continued growth in the In Kind Canada program.

Charities will not be disappointed with the value they will get from the program. As agencies join the program they are guaranteed a full twelve months of benefits that begin after they receive their very first shipment of items. Agencies are not asked to renew their subscription until they have received at least TEN times the cost of joining the program back in material. Furthermore, there are no upper limits on what an agency could receive.
