Val Takeda, Executive Director,
Sexual Assault/Rape Crisis Centre of Peel

"On behalf of all of us at the Rape Crisis/Sexual Assault Centre of Peel, thank you so much for the great Body Shop donation, and for all of the other donations we've received from In Kind Canada in the past. My Counseling team was thrilled to see what they'll be able to make available for women in our workshops. It spurred them to plan some additional self-care evenings. Just wanted you all to know that your hard work is invaluable to us."

Ken Gingerich, Director of Development,
Fife House, Toronto

"On behalf of the Rhythms for Life Committee, and everyone at Fife House, thank you so much for your silent auction donation for Rhythms for Life!

The entire event was a resounding success. The lead-up radio coverage on JazzFM, the several newsprint promotions, the fantastic jazz and blues artists, and the outstanding silent and live auctions containing contributions from over forty individuals or corporations, all combined to raise over $47,000".

Chris Smith, Fund Development Coordinator,
St. Thomas-Elgin Second Stage Housing

"St. Thomas-Elgin Second Stage Housing has developed a unique raffle using 13 of the Children In Art lithographs. We are holding a print per month raffle. For a $10 ticket, patrons have a chance at all 13 draws (one per month starting September 2003, plus an early bird draw in August). Ticket sales began on March 27 and in the first week 87 of the 500 tickets were sold. These prints are bringing in income for our programs for abused women. Thank you".
